Contact & corrections

Everything here goes to one inbox, read by a person. There's no form on this page, no tracking, and nothing that asks about your medical situation — the subject lines below just help us sort it.

Correct something about a facility

The most useful email we get. Rates change, services change, and we will have made mistakes. Whether you run the facility or stayed at it, tell us what is wrong and we will check and fix it.

Corrections are free, always. Include the listing name and what specifically is wrong — a rate, an included service, a nursing arrangement, a phone number.

Add or update a facility

If you operate a recovery house, retreat, post-op suite or aftercare service and want to be listed, send the details: location, nightly rates and what they cover, room types, nursing arrangement and credential, minimum stay, what is included, add-on pricing, guest policy, and procedures you serve.

Two things worth knowing before you write. There is no charge to be listed, and there is no charge to correct anything — but there is also no way to buy a listing, a position, or the removal of a caveat. And the more specific you are about your nursing arrangement, the better your listing will read, because we will otherwise describe it conservatively.

Report a facility

If you had a bad or unsafe experience somewhere listed here, we want to know — it affects whether and how we list them. Please understand what we can and cannot do: we can correct or remove a listing, and we can add a caveat. We cannot investigate, adjudicate, or act as a complaints body.

For anything involving your care or your safety, the people who can actually act are your surgeon, your state's health department, and — where a facility is operating unlawfully — local law enforcement. Those routes matter more than telling us.

Say hello

Please don't send medical details. We are not clinicians and we cannot help with anything about your recovery. If something is wrong with how you feel, contact your surgeon or emergency services — not a directory. Emails to the addresses above are read by a person and kept no longer than needed to deal with them; see privacy.
